A Strike Of Nurses Began In Israel, Demanding An Increase In Salary
A strike of nurses and nurses began on Monday in Israel, demanding that the government increase pay, the Jerusalem Post reports.
The medical staff is dissatisfied with the fact that many nurses and nurses in recent months have been redirected to work in infectious departments with people with coronavirus. Also, many of them are now in quarantine, so those who work in their places, as before the pandemic, face a double burden.
During the strike, only coronavirus departments in hospitals are operating normally, and nurses on duty will also be working to provide emergency care to patients.
Meanwhile, as of Monday in Israel, more than 28 thousand people are infected and sick with coronavirus. During the entire time of the pandemic, 50 thousand infections were confirmed in the country, but more than 21 thousand people have already recovered. More than 400 people died.
