Sony Is Giving Away Money To PS Plus Subscribers In Honor Of The Service's Anniversary
On July 24, many PS Plus subscribers unexpectedly received a small amount from Sony to their PS Store account. This money cannot be withdrawn, but users will be able to spend it on buying new games — this is how the company congratulated its customers on the tenth anniversary of the service.
Judging by the screenshots in social networks, the size of the "gift" is about $10. It is noteworthy that not all PS Plus subscribers received the money, and it is still unclear on what principle Sony sent the amount. This fact caused a mixed reaction in the gaming community. Old subscribers who have been using PS Plus for many years were especially outraged.
PS Plus was introduced on June 29, 2010. In honor of the anniversary in the July compilation, subscribers were given three games instead of two-NBA 2K20, Rise of the Tomb Raider, and Erica.
