The US Secret Service Confirmed The Shooting Near The White House

The US secret service confirmed that there was a shooting near the White House, because of which President Donald Trump suddenly left the press conference.

"The secret service can confirm that there was a shooting at the corner of 17th street and Pennsylvania Avenue involving an officer (Secret service - if). Law enforcement officers are working at the scene. More information will follow," the service tweeted.

Earlier, Trump was forced to interrupt a press conference at the request of security officers.

The President of the United States was telling reporters about the economic success of the United States when one of the Secret service employees approached him and explained something. Trump asked him what was wrong, listened to a brief explanation, and then, without saying a word, left the venue of the press conference.

After Trump left the staff in his administration, including the Minister of Finance Steven Mnuchin.

A few minutes later, Trump returned, reported that there was a shooting near the White House, and law enforcement officers opened fire on the suspect and wounded him. No one else was injured, he said.
