China Has Restored Regular Flights To 50 Countries Around The World
As of August 12 this year, China has restored regular flights to 50 countries that were previously interrupted due to the coronavirus pandemic, said Wu Shijin, head of the Security Department of the Civil Aviation Administration Of China, at a briefing.
According to him, currently, 93 airlines operate regular passenger flights: 74 foreign and 19 Chinese. They operate on 187 international routes.
There are 210 flights to and from China every week.
At the same time, according to the official, the number of flights that were operated before the pandemic has not yet been restored.
So, in July, it decreased by 34.1% year-on-year, although in June this figure was 42.4%.
