Pompeo Signed An Agreement To Transfer Thousands Of US Troops To Poland
US Secretary of state Mike Pompeo and Polish Defense Minister Mariusz Blaszczak signed an agreement on Saturday to strengthen military cooperation between the two countries, the Associated Press reported.
The agreement provides, in particular, for the deployment of an additional one thousand American military personnel in Poland. Thus, the total number of us troops in this Eastern European country will be about 5,600.
It is planned that reinforcements will be transferred to Poland from Germany.
Besides, several us military command structures will be transferred to Polish territory from Germany.
The agreement also provides for the granting of the US army access to a larger number of Polish military objects.
