On August 6, the company reported that it recorded revenue and profit growth in the third quarter of the fiscal year 2020, despite the new coronavirus pandemic. For the three months ended July 27, the company had revenue of $59.7 billion and a net income of $11.3 billion. Both indicators showed growth compared to the same period in the 2019 financial year. At that time, Apple's revenue was $53.8 billion, and its profit was $10 billion.
