Bono, Jennifer Hudson, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Anderson Paak, Edgar Wright to Keynote Variety Music for Screens Summit

Bono, Anderson Paak, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Jennifer Hudson and Edgar Wright will keynote Varietys Virtual Summit Music for Screens.

The summit will cover topics like the revival of films and TV, music in superheroes, video production and the rise of video games as artist launchpad.

After a long time, Bono, whose Grammy award winner and lead singer named U2, will discuss the production of the original song "Your Song Saved My Life" which was featured in the movie "Sing 2." He will be joined by the writer and director, Garth Jennings.

Paak, musician, singer-songwriter, producer and director, will speak about his prolific past year, from the original song Fire in the Sky for the film Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings to the ongoing work of music group Silk Sonic.

Miranda will share her storytelling successes over the past year, including directing the musical Tick, Tick... Boom!, presenting songs for Encanto and voicing a character in Vivo.

We will meet with Will.i.am and Jamie Hartman for the talk on the film Respect. Hudson and Hartmann are co-songwriters and producer and singer-lister, producer, and musician with the same name as the songwriting legend Carole King. And Will william is the producer of the original song, Here I Am (Singing My Way Home).

Wright is talking about his music career, from the movies Last Night in Soho to The Sparks Brothers.

A Q&A will follow about Zimmer's experiences in the musical transformation of the films. The ASCAP inaugural composer of this year award recognizes his extraordinary accomplishments in 2021, namely composing Dune and No Time to Die. A presentation will tell the story of his experiences.
