The series Class of 09 has added Sepideh Moafi, Brian J. Smith, Jon Jon Briones, Brooke Smith and Jake McDorman, Rosalind Eleazar and Ral Castillo to the cast. Also, Sunu Gonera will direct the first two episodes.

The eight-episode series is a multi-generational thriller that is carried out by three decades and is told across three distinct but interweaving timelines in order to examine the nature of justice, humanity and the choices that people make that define their lives and legacy. One of these timeline will be the near future when the U.S. criminal justice system is transformed by artificial intelligence.

The show follows a class of FBI agents, including previously announced stars Kate Mara and Poet, whose never thought she would join the law enforcement world and yet is at the centre of repression, and Brian Tyree Henry as Tayo, who is described as one of the greatest and unorthodox agents in the world; he wants not to make the mark on the institution, but to remake it.

Maofi plays Hour, Smith plays Lennix, Briones is Gabriel, McDorman plays Murphy, Eleazar portrays Vivienne and Castillo portraying Amos.

Moafi currently stars in Showtime's The L Word: Generation Q and can next be seen in Apple TV Pluss In With The Devil based on the 2010 book of the same name. She has also been a theater performer since she was commissioned by the A3 Artists Agency and Principal Entertainment LA.

Smith is known for his work on Broadway and West End, and has received the Tony and Olivier nominations. Smith has also been represented by Innovative Artists and Principal Entertainment LA.

His other theater credits include "Ratched," "The Assassination of Gianni Versace" and "Apocalypse" he previously worked with Ryan Murphy on the "Miss Saigon" remake and Broadway version of that same title. He recently re-entered the production of the American Horror Story, along with a production by Piper Kaniecki Marks, and the A3 Artists Agency.

Smith is represented by the Stewart Talent Agency and Sue Leibman/Barking Dog Entertainment.

He recently starred in The Right Stuff, Limitless, Hivero and Murphy Brown.

Eleazar has recently completed her stage debut in The Personal History of David Copperfield at the Royal Court Theater. She recently made the debut of Slow Horses the Apple TV Plus adaptation of the first of Mick Herrons Jackson Lamb spy novels.

Castillo is well known for his performances in the independent film We the Animals and on television in Looking. He is also known as The Dogs of the Dead on Netflix, while he has recently delivered a film called Night Teeth for the film and Assert of The Dead.

Gonera is known for his films, 13 Reasons Why, The Rook and FX but also recently performed on the film Pride, which is available on Netflix. Goera has a background in performing and writing, including for the Thruline, A3 Artists Agency and RLG LLP.

The series "Class of '09" hails from executive producer and writer Tom Rob Smith and executive producers Nina Jacobson and Brad Simpson. Gonera will also executive produce the first two episodes. Nellie Reed is a producer of the series. The show will stream exclusively on Hulu.
