How were [SPOILER] Killed Off during the Station 19/Grey's Anatomy Crossover?

If you haven't watched the crossover event Station 19/Greys Anatomy on Nov. 11 before, don'T read.

The promos had flatly stated that not everyone would survive the Station 19/Greys Anatomy crossover episodes Thursday night and that was true. Okieriete Onaodowan, who has played Dean Miller for the Seattle firefighter since the premiere of The 19th in spring 2018, has left the ABC drama.

I've been pleased with my work with the most loving, kind and dedicated crew in network TV. And most importantly, thanks to the fans for showing a lot of love. I hope he will inspire you to change your world for the better.

As part of the cast, Onaodowan won a Grammy in 2016 at the ceremony.

After the episode aired on the East Coast, ABC sent Dean Miller a video tribute.

After the incident, Dean was on the road to Seattle, but the station was turned down by a gas line explosion, and he was found lying on sand, having been thrown by the blast. Ben (Jason George) tried to resuscitate him in the ambulance, then walked to the hospital.

The station 19 fellowship was able to process Deans death the most, in the case of the man who was in a ruthless rage for leaving Seattle, but refused to go with him until he died. Miranda Bailey and Ben have stepped up their relationship, since despite threatening to tell him if she was not at the mercy of his promise.

"I'm sad to see what I've done for Oak," she wrote. "Mike is the one who has lost my ability to work with the artist," and is grateful that I have been able to find a way to show the world what he's done in my own way. I am tempted to go and see my way through the arts, and I can't wait to think of what the future is, because Oak is all of those things."
