-Battle at Lake Changjin-Sets U.K., Ireland Releases EXCLUSIVE

Trinity Cine Asia acquired "The Battle at Lake Changjin" from Taipei-based sales firm Distribution Workshop and is scheduled to release the war epic in the U.K. and Ireland on Nov. 19.

The movie is the world's highest-grossing title, but has earned $881 million in its home market alone good news for the movie, billed as the most expensive production of all time.

The United States and Ireland outings will occur in 25 cities, followed by North America and Australia (Dec. 2), where the film is being distributed by China's Chinese CMC Pictures.

To release the biggest box office story of 2021, it is a privilege for cinemas to be able to release that big film, which is not just filming first real-time shoots of recovery, said the co-founder and director of Trinity Cine Asia, Cedric Behrel, admitting that its nearly three hour run-off has been viewed by cinema critics, especially in the short run.

Behrel envisions the film triggering new discussions and debates about Korean War, despite its jingoistic tone and pro-Chinese message, and a provo-chinese Communist Party message.

In contrast to the war films which are made from Hollywood or the United States, it is a particular remark of China's historical past. The film is capable of revealing the historical history and bringing the many famous wars to chinese audiences. "The film falls into the art form of decisive battles that change the course of history."

As noted above, "Unknown to many of us these days, the Battle of Lake Changjin marked a historical moment that was still relevant to contemporary Asia and possibly the world today."

He said his team was excited by the Trinity teams enthusiasm and effort in bringing this important film to cinemas in the U.K. within such a short turnaround time frame.

The novel The Battle at Lake Changjin is co-directed by three famous directors: Chen Kaige (Farewell My Concubine), Tsui Hark (Once upon a Time in China) and Dante Lam (Red Sea Operation).

This film is supported by Bona Film Group, August First Film Studio, Huaxia Production, China Film, Shanghai Film Company, Alibaba Pictures, Beijing Dengfeng International Media.

Its cast is led by Jackson Yee, the star of the Hong Kong youth drama Better Days, and Wu Jing, best known for his star turn in Wolf Warrior 2.

Behrel esteems that Lake Changjin will find a greater viewership than Wolf Warrior 2 once his firm rolls it out to on-demand and home entertainment platforms next year.

The film, or the directors' work could attract viewers interested in war or big action, rather than a mix of actors. "It could bring broader attention to war, revolving and defining films, in particular, by attracting viewers directly interested to such whose interests are based on their interests, and in the general sense of what it means, more often than in Warrior II.
