The Brea Breeze renewed for Season 2 at NBC

The broadcaster announced Friday that La Brea has been renewed for season 2 at NBC.

Seven episodes of the drama series have aired yet. According to NBC, the pilot has been seen by 198 million people with a 3.6 rating in adults 18-49 across all platforms.

In the show, a massive sinkhole opens in the middle of Los Angeles, and carries hundreds of people and buildings into its depths. Those who fell in lands and take shelter from this mysterious disaster have to discover the secrets of this extraordinary event to find re-enter the world.

The show stars Natalie Zea, Eoin Macken, Jack Martin, Zyra Gorecki, Jon Seda (Yukonkwo), Karina Logue, Veronica St. Clair, Rohan Mirchandaney, Nicholas Gonzalez, Lily Santiago, Chloe De Los Santos, and Josh McKenzie.

The series is produced by Universal Television in conjunction with Keshet Studios.

The second shows that NBC released in the fall were La Brea and Ordinary Joe starring James Wolk. All of a sudden, he has been hosting dozens of new shows this season, including American Auto with Grand Crew the limited limited series The Thing About Pam.
