Jennifer Garner Boards Apple Drama Series 'The Last Thing He Told Me&& #038; in Recasting - Jennifer Gutter Board
Jennifer Garner will headline the upcoming Apple drama series The Last Thing He Told Me, Variety confirmed.
The series is based on the book Laura Dave's that name. Garner takes over the role from Julia Roberts, who pulled out from the postponed role.
The novel was published on May 4 by Simon & Schuster.
Dave is adapting his book to the screen with his husband, Josh Singer. Both are executive producers with Reese Witherspoon and Lauren Neustadter of Hello Sunshine and Garner.
The actress has stared in the ABC thriller "Alias" in 2018. The starring role has been in such a popular show as Juno, The Dallas Buyers Club and Love, Simon.
She's repped by CAA, Linden Entertainment, The Lede Company and Sloane Offer.
The Starz drama Gaslit is a dramatic retelling of the Watergate Scandal, with Roberts starring Martha Mitchell and John Mitchell, the wife of Richard Nixons Attorney General, who will be played by Penn.
Garner reported that the date of the casting was the first time Garnner was casting.
