Republic Records promoted Wendy Goldstein and Jim Roppo to the role of co-presidents, the label announced Wednesday.

Goldstein, the top music producer in the world, has served as president of West Coast Creative since 2019 and resides in Los Angeles. Roppo has occupied the post of executive VP since 2018 and general manager at the labels New York headquarters.

Im excited to announce the announcement as soon as we begin to go to the next chapter of Republic Records.

Avery added that, We can always rely on Roppo and Wendy to not only exceed expectations, but also shatter them entirely. Theyve been integral to our success until now and will be more crucial to the evolution of our company.

Goldstein said, I've been very lucky to work with Monte, Avery and Republic for over two decades now. To say that it was an unbelievable ride, theyve shown me the utmost support and confidence at every turn and continue to inspire me. Im looking forward to this exciting new opportunity alongside my good friend Roppo as we enter Republics next era.

A new role was as a result of the success of ten years as my incredible co-President, the one and only Wendy Goldstein in this new position, stated Roppo. There's no other company like Republic. She has been recognized on the Variety Show and the Women in Music Awards, among others. Prior to Republic, she worked in the A&R Geffen, East West Records, MCA Records and Capitol/ Priority Records.

Roppo was the 24-year veteran of Universal Music Group, but has been a member of the Republic family since 2012. He served as GM and EVP until 2018, when he became HGVP. He also regularly appeared in The Variety Variety and Billboard power lists.
