Chinese OnePlus Presented New OnePlus 8 & 8 Pro
OnePlus has just unveiled its new flagship smartphones. Almost all the information about them got to the Internet many days before the announcement.
To begin with, it's worth noting that OnePlus still held a relatively classic presentation, but, of course, in front of an empty room. We probably saw the recording, not the actual live broadcast, but it doesn't matter.
There was no revolution in design. Except for the OnePlus 7T, the overall design has not changed much since the One Plus 6. The main change in the Front is that the front camera is now placed in the hole and the display in both versions.
The OnePlus Z has not been shown, and it is unclear when it will be released. The difference between the older and younger models this year is very significant, while both models can be called improved versions of the last generation since there are minimal cardinal differences.
The OnePlus 8 Pro has become, apparently, the company's conditionally ideal smartphone. It finally got both wireless charging, with a power of 30 W, and full protection from water (IP68) — this is what OnePlus fans have been asking for many years.
The One Plus 8 has no wireless charging or water protection, making it even more similar to its predecessor. Moreover, in some ways, OnePlus 8 is even worse than the One Plus 7T.
Both new products, of course, are based on the SoC Snapdragon 865. One Plus 8 Pro received a 120-inch display with a diagonal of 6.78 inches with a resolution of 3168 x 1440 pixels, a maximum brightness of 1300 CD/m2 and support for HDR10+. OnePlus 8 has a slightly simpler display. Its diagonal is 6.55 inches, and resolution is 2400 x 1080 pixels.
