The Attackers On The Stock Exchange Of Pakistan Were Separatists
Four militants who attacked the Stock exchange in the Pakistani city of Karachi on Monday have been eliminated, the police told reporters; according to preliminary data, the people who attacked the exchange were representatives of a separatist organization.
Currently, the police are investigating whether any of the terrorists managed to escape from the scene. The city has entered an alarm mode.
As a result of the attack, two people were killed, and three were injured. Employees of the exchange managed to evacuate. In turn, the Pakistani TV channel Geo News, citing sources in Karachi hospitals, reports that seven dead and two injured were taken to local clinics as a result of the attack. Among the dead, according to the TV channel, are four security guards and a police officer.
According to preliminary information, the attack on the stock exchange of Pakistan was carried out by militants from the Balochistan Liberation Army (a militant separatist organization that supports the independence of the province of Balochistan).
