The Fire Occurred At A Uranium Enrichment Facility In Iran

The fire occurred on Thursday morning on the territory of a uranium enrichment facility in Iran's Natanz, the country's media reported, citing the head of the city Ramezanali Firdousi.

The head of the city did not explain the reasons for the incident, noting only that "there is no cause for concern." According to him, firefighters and rescuers were sent to the place.

In turn, the representative of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEI) Behrouz Kamalvandi said that as a result of the incident, a building under construction near the nuclear facility in Natanz was damaged.

According to him, there are no victims; the plant continues to operate normally.

Kamalvandi said that the UAE's specialists had arrived at the Natanz nuclear complex to investigate the incident.
