As Warzone 2.0 looms just around thecorner, RICOCHET Anti-Cheat is plucking the guns from cheater's

We have seen another rise behind the scenes at Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific and Vanguards RICOCHET Anti-Cheat. Along with the simplest facts on dealing with the ongoing cheating problem in the popular FPS youd expect, we were let in on the latest trick in the RICOCHET arsenal - literally plucking the guns out of cheaters.

All of this is accomplished via a official post on the Call of Duty website, which provides insight from the RICOCHET team and a conversation about the ongoing updates and issues facing the game they have. The first question relates to a wide range of Call of Duty players - if RICOCHET is so powerful, why am I still dealing with cheaters?

As we continue to develop new bad behaviors, we are assuming that our systems may identify and react to the known bad behavior.

It is only until the section dedicated to cheater mitigations - actions taken directly against cheaters during the game - that we have received insight into the newfound technique of stripping the weapons out of cheaters hands. In fact, they cann even punch in this newfound disarm state, leaving them absolutely harmless and easy pickings for honest players.

The following is the case: We have several mitigations that will certainly spill the beans on in the future. Some are in the works, but others are still in the works. Beyond its challenge to unfair play, we have a second, somewhat secret effort to annoy as many cheaters as possible.
