Today is the lucky day for all those who have been campaigning for a 10-player, online co-op for Super Mario Odyssey, because there''s now a mod for that.

Mario, if not just a little guy, is perhaps one of the best little guys! Unfortunately, there is also one of him on most occasions, but a new multiplayer mod from a group of supporters is trying to tweak that (thanks, VGC). The 2017 Nintendo title includes ten players, including a number of players.

"Have fun with friends, playing game modes, or beating the game as quickly as possible," says the trailer''s author. "This mod is still in development, so expect bugs and unrefined aspects as we work hard to improve it and make the mod as polished as possible."

Out from being able to play with up to 10 players, features include syncing in full 2D and costume styles, and a moon collection being shared among all players, as well as support for custom game modes.

CraftyBoss, a developer of Mario Odyssey, has made a variety of different mods in the past. And looking at the trailer, the online looks as if Nintendo had made it. Though considering the company''s rocky history with online multiplayer, it might even improve than it might.

Since Super Mario Odyssey''s launch five years ago, sales figures increased by about 23.5 million units per year. This makes it Nintendo''s best-selling home console, while establishing it as one of the best selling consoles of all time.
