(Charlton, 1955) contains a story from (Fox Feature Syndicate, 1948) titled, which appears to be by Jack Kamen and others from the Jerry Iger studio. This is not the first time this story has been featured in the 1948 issue, however. Interestingly, this story has begun life as a cover feature of Green Publishing''s (cover-dated July-August 1946) as a story featuring Lucky Wings, the Blue Beetle regular character, and has several issues up for auction

Green Publishing Co. is a controversial publishing company with a limited output of two years, 1946 and 1957. which was first launched three months after the United States used nuclear bombs in WWII, is their most historically famous title. Publisher David Korneman was also a paper broker who used his connections to the late war era. Under similar circumstances, Iger''s studio provided material for other publishers.

A gangster has hired a scientist to collect the radiation "residue" from atomic bomb testing in the Pacific, as well as a shower scene in another Blue Beetle issue, which would have been scandalous in the times. The VG+ and several issues of the series are up for auction in the 2022 June 19-20 Sunday & Monday Auctions.
