As the market continues to expand, gaming-centric smartphones are seeing annual releases, with ASUS being at the forefront of companies introducing this category of devices. A fresh teaser indicates that massive thermal upgrades are inbound.
The ROG Phone 6 may also feature an upgraded Vapor Chamber out from the Graphite Sheet improvement.
The ROG Phone 6 will come with Qualcomm''s latest and greatest smartphone SoC, according to the TSMC. However, irrespective if the Snapdragon 8 Gen Plus 1 is massproduced with high-efficiency 4nm technology, it is also up to companies like ASUS to utilize superior cooling solutions to ensure such chipsets can perform at their best levels when stressed, otherwise touting impressive specifications on paper is nothing more than a marketing gimmick.
ASUS has suggested two enhancements to make the ROG Phone 6 a feature above the rest of the previous one. One is a +85% graphite sheet, with the other one being a +30 vapor chamber. Both devices have also been introduced to smartphones.

Vapor chambers reduce heat effectively while allowing manufacturers to reduce their thickness. However, ASUS has not mentioned if the ROG Phone 6 will have a 30 percent thicker vapor chamber or one with a 30 percent wide surface area. However, these improvements are lacking, even if the SoC is stressed using intensive applications.
This beefy cooling upgrade may result in the ROG Phone 6 increasing in thickness, but the downside is that it will likely include other improvements, such as a massive battery, ample storage capacity and more. As per ASUS, the ROG Phone 6 will launch on July 5, so we will have more updates for you then.
