Fans of Unreal Engine 5 have begun making Silent Hill

Unreal Engine 5 has been developed by a group of Silent Hill fans. So far, it appears that the team is on track to a good start.

Not as long ago, details of a Silent Hill 2 remake were leaked, and rumors surrounding the title became prevalent. Despite the fact that not-E3 was introduced, many a Silent Hill fan were disappointed to see that the game was not mentioned, myself included. In the near future, speculation may be a clue.

Unreal Engine 5 is a new version of the 1999 Silent Hill game, which was then transformed, and the whole group of fans and enthusiasts is looking for feedback.

James explores Midwich Elementary School in this ten-minute video, which he believes is one of the team''s favourite areas in the title, and that is likely to resonate with many Silent Hill fans. The gameplay itself, and seeing the environment in such a high resolution definitely reawakened me some extra sentiments.

The general consensus in viewers on the video is that the gameplay is fantastic, but things are far too bright for Silent Hill. The horror title is well known for its foggy world and dark corridors, with the atmosphere perhaps being Silent Hill''s most powerful and well-known feature.

The atmosphere in this Unreal Engine 5 remake is yet to be revealed, and it is one element that many fear a remake would be difficult to get right, but the team behind Codeless Games may quite well get there. They are genuinely committed to the cause, and I can''t wait to see the whole thing.

So what are your thoughts on the game so far? It''s not all for horror game news, either. Rumours persist over the possibility of a new horror game from Hideo Kojima, and a new Layers of Fear scheme has been unveiled.
