PlayStation Plus Premium has completed its planned worldwide rollout and is now available in the United Kingdom and mainland Europe.
Many of the Classic Catalogue PlayStation 1 games are still available in their PAL 50Hz versions, a slower standard built by the NTSC 60Hz option elsewhere.
Sony said it will provide "NTSC options for a majority" of these games in the future this morning, although it''s unclear when or for which games.
"We''re planning to develop NTSC capabilities for a majority of classic games set on the PlayStation Plus Premium and Deluxe package in Asia, Europe, Middle East, India, South Africa, Australia, and New Zealand," Sony says on Twitter.
Eurogamer has a comprehensive list of games available via PlayStation Plus Premium, including the 13 titles from the PS1 era.
These are Ape Escape, Hot Shots Golf, I.Q Intelligent Qube, Jumping Flash!, Mr. Driller, Oddworld: Abe''s Oddysee, Resident Evil Director''s Cut, Syphon Filter, and Tekken 2, Toy Story 2: Buzz Lightyear to the Rescue!, Wild Arms, Worms Armageddon, and Worms World Party.
In Asia, Europe, Middle East, India, South Africa, Australia, and New Zealand, we are planning to include NTSC options for a large variety of classic games under the PlayStation Plus Premium and Deluxe package.
For the most part, today''s European release covers the same list of games we saw as part of PlayStation Plus Premium''s previous North American release.
If you know where to locate the PSP classic Super Stadust Portable, you will notice it today.
