The Umbrella Academy''s third season of episode-by-episode review

The Hargreeves enter Hotel Oblivion in season 3, via the White Buffalo Suite portal.

In episode 9, Reginald prepares to kill Luther in order to reunite his friends. The Kugelblitz engulfs him, but Klaus, who doesn''t know Reginald, asks Luther about his disappearance.

After the deaths of Luther and Klaus, Reginald explains that the bells are a must-see symbol for change in the world. Five (Aidan Gallagher), Viktor (Elliot Page, and Alison (Emmy Raver-Lampman) form a group, and Ben (Justin H. Min) and Sloane (Genesis Rodriguez) are dating.

In this other hotel version, each group faces a different samurai, causing some to finish up in a similar but separate hallway.

Five people notice the symbol in the lobby before the final samurai severs his arm. Reginald stops Alison from joining. Klaus, Viktor, Sloane, Ben, Diego, and Lila replace them, and a beam of light kills the last samurai.

The hotel facade falls on, revealing a dimension-hopping mechanism. The sevens corpses fuel the cosmos-resetting machine, which kills them. Reginald will sacrifice, but not Alison. She taps the red machine button.

When Alison leaves a taxi, the screen turns blank. Claire discovers Claire asleep upstairs. Ray (Yusuf Gatewood) eats the movie while she checks on her daughter.

On October 1, 1989, Reginald Hargreeves presented the Obsidian Memorial Plaza, the Umbrella and Sparrow Academies birthdays. The bust in the plazas is a six-sided star.

Luther is no longer ape-like. Fives arm and Diegos fingers are back but useless. Sloanes are gone. Luther is attempting to get Sloane. The result is clear: atop a tower, Reginald and his late wife Abigail.
