Unable to access the Scarface sequel is shown in unidentified gameplay

Mafia Game Videos, a YouTube channel, discovered some gameplay footage for Scarface Empire, the sequel to Scarface: The World Is Yours. The footage shown is clearly very early and includes a lot of placeholder assets. Still, we get a glimpse of the shooting and driving mechanics and a prototype for a new revive mechanics.

Scarface Empire was built at Radical Entertainment, the same studio that made the first game. However, the project was sluggishly canceled after Vivendi merged with Activision back in 2008. At the time, Scarface: The World Is Yours received extensive critical acclaim and excellent sales.

Scarface Empire was using a heavily modified version of Prototype, a Radical Entertainment game. Following Prototype 2, Radical became a support studio for Activision Blizzard and was developing playing like Bungie''s Destiny.
