The final Fantasy 16 trailer has been postponed due to a conflict in Ukraine

Naoki Yoshida, a producer of Final Fantasy 16, has admitted that the recent trailer for the game was delayed due to the Ukraine conflict.

Yoshida feared that the topic of the game, referred to Dengeki Online, due to ongoing world events, would be incorrect.

"Actually, it was ready to be released in March, but in the same time, Russia''s invasion of Ukraine made the world situation unstable," said Yoshida.

"Since Final Fantasy 16 introduces a somewhat stringent theme as a story, I wondered if the second trailer would be available at this time if it would be truly enjoyable for gamers. "When I told SIE about that feeling, I was worried about it, so I decided to postpone the release after thorough discussions."

Yoshida described the Eikon''s summons to nuclear weapons of mass destruction in another interview with Famitsu, and the lands of Valisthea constructed on the Mother Crystal are "desirable of a land rich in oil."

Final Fantasy 16 will have a more seasoned storyline than it has previously, putting it in at a M rating.

When you encounter a variety of individuals with different ideals in the same room, one of the main themes explored in Final Fantasy 16''s narrative, says, "What is truly right and what is truly wrong." Yoshida believes the author is adamantly wrong.

Final Fantasy 16 will be available on PS5 in summer 2023.
