Patsy Walker has been brought to Marvel Unlimited by Trina Robbins and Derek Charm

With a new digital comic by Trina Robbins and an artist perfectly suited to the task, Patsy Walker, has returned to Marvel Unlimited''s roots. Set in 1955, the new Patsy Walker comic is a teen romance and fashion comic inspired by Walker''s previous discoveries.

Robins talked about the series in a press release on Marvel.com:

My girlfriend Nancy, her frenemy Hedy Wolfe, and the boy they fight over, all included new characters. I liked Patsy Walker as a kid, and so did my girlfriends. We weren''t the least bit interested in being Super Heroes, but we wanted to be Patsy! It''s a dream come true for me to write her.

In a press release, Derek Charm talked about the comic.

The fashion and particular references are mostly from Trina, who provided tons of clips from 50s fashion magazines and old Patsy comics. I was lucky enough to have some extra time to do character designs and find the correct designs for each of the main characters based on Trina''s references. That really helped me to get me in the visual mindset of the era. I also loved the way Rico Renzi''s 50'' color palette infused everything into life.

The first issue of Patsy Walker is now available on Marvel Unlimited, with new ones coming out on Thursdays.
