A new version of Pokemon HOME has been officially released. Read on below to learn more.

BELLEVUE, WAMay 12, 2022The Pokemon Company International and Nintendo have announced the new Pokemon HOME version 2.0.0, which will now allow thePokemon Legends: Arceus,Pokemon Brilliant Diamond, andPokemon Shining Pearlvideo games to be fully compatible with the cloud service app alongside previous gamesPokemon Sword,Pokemon Shield, Pokemon: Lets Go, Pikachu!, and Pokemon GO.[1]Players may expect the update in the future

Pokemon HOME empowers players to continue their Pokemon adventures beyond a single game system and manage their collection of Pokemon across many of their games. These Pokemon that players may take to each game are limited to the Pokemon that appear in these games. Players can view the details on which Pokemon can be taken to which games from the Help menu of the mobile device version ofPokemon HOME.[2]

Strange Balls will only appear inPokemon Legends: Arceus,Pokemon Brilliant Diamond, andPokemon Shining Pearl. All Pokemon caught inPokemon Legends: Arceus, Arceus, andPokemon Shining Pearl will only appear in regular Poke Balls.[3]

Pokemon HOME will allow players to see the Pokemon that they originally caught.

When you link games to celebratePokemon Brilliant Diamond,Pokemon Shining Pearl, andPokemon Legends, you may receive special Pokemon.[4]

After depositing a Pokemon fromPokemon Legends: Arceusinto the Nintendo Switch version of Pokemon HOME, players will receive Rowlet, Cyndaquil, and Oshawott with maximum effort levels as Mystery Gifts in the mobile device version of Pokemon HOME.

Pokemon Brilliant DiamondandPokemon Shining PearlConnectivity After depositing a Pokemon fromPokemon Brilliant DiamondorPokemon Shining Pearlinto the Nintendo Switch version of Pokemon HOME, players will receive Turtwig, Chimchar, and Piplup as mystery gifts in the mobile device version of Pokemon HOME.

Connectivity Between Various Games Pokemon can learn inPokemon Legends: Arceus,Pokemon Brilliant Diamond,Pokemon Shining Pearl, andPokemon Shielddiffer, respectively. When a Pokemon is taken to another game for the first time, the moves it can use will be determined by its level.[5]

If a Pokemon is removed from the game, it becomes involved in a different game and learns other moves, then returns to the game it was involved, and will return to having the previous moves[6].

Players who have a link toPokemon Brilliant DiamondandPokemon Shining Pearl can check on the condition of Pokemon deposited fromPokemon Brilliant DiamondandPokemon Shining Pearlto Pokemon HOME as well as their other details.

When you connectPokemon Brilliant DiamondandPokemon Shining Pearlto Pokemon HOME, be cautious of the following methods.

  • Special Pokemon that can only be caught once during regular gameplay can only be deposited once per save data to Pokemon HOME.

Linking toPokemon Legends: Arceus You may see the effort levels of Pokemon deposited fromPokemon Legends: Arceusto Pokemon HOME as well as its other features.

  • The objective ofPokemon Legends: Arceusis to help compile the first Pokedex in the Hisui region. As such, the National Pokedex in Pokemon HOME will update its Pokedex entries based on your completion of the Pokedex in yourPokemon Legends: Arceussave data.
  • If a Pokedex entry inPokemon Legends: Arceusis incomplete, you will not be able to see that Pokemons entry in Pokemon HOME.

Additional Achievements and Stickers Players may obtain stickers bycompleting achievements by meeting certain conditions in the mobile-phone version of Pokemon HOME. New achievements and stickers based onPokemon Legends: Arceus,Pokemon Brilliant Diamond, andPokemon Shining Pearlwill be added from version 2.0.0 onwards.

A fresh update toPokemon HOME(version 2.0.0) will soon be released, adding the capability to link toPokemon Legends: Arceus,Pokemon Brilliant Diamond, andPokemon Shining Pearl, along with previousPokemon Sword,Pokemon Shield,Pokemon: Lets Go, Pikachu!, andPokemon GO.

Pokemon Legends: Arceus,Pokemon Brilliant Diamond, andPokemon Shining Pearl will be mutually compatible with Pokemon HOME, and you may deposit and withdraw Pokemon from each of these games. For example, you may take a Pikachu from the Pokemon Legends: Arceus,Pokemon Brilliant Diamond, orPokemon Shining Pearl.

Please note that transferring Pokemon to a game they were not initially caught in may alter known movements, level, and type of Poke Ball they were caught in.

The only Pokedex in Pokemon HOME was the National Pokedex. However, starting from version 2.0.0, the Pokedex from each game will be added. Pokemon in your Boxes in Pokemon HOME will be registered after the ver. 2.0.0 update is installed. However, those who have been traded will not be registered.

By finishing achievements in the mobile version of Pokemon HOME, you may obtain new stickers to modify your profile. These accomplishments may be accomplished by meeting certain conditions.

Pokemon caught inPokemon Brilliant Diamond,Pokemon Shining Pearl,Pokemon Sword, orPokemon Shieldare will appear in Strange Balls. When Pokemon caught inPokemon Brilliant Diamond,Pokemon Shining Pearl, orPokemon Shieldare will also appear in standard Poke Balls.

You may check the condition of Pokemon deposited from thePokemon Brilliant DiamondandPokemon Shining Pearlto Pokemon HOME as well as their other information.

You may see the effort levels of Pokemon deposited fromPokemon Legends: Arceusto Pokemon HOME as well as its other information.

Arceusis is attempting to create the Hisui region''s first Pokedex, according to the National Pokedex in Pokemon HOME, based on your completed Pokedex in yourPokemon Legends: Arceussave data.

If the Pokedex entry inPokemon Legends: Arceusis is incomplete, you will not be able to see it in Pokemon HOME.

When you connect each game to Pokemon HOME, you will receive special Pokemon to commemoratePokemon Legends: Arceus, Pokemon Brilliant Diamond, andPokemon Shining Pearlbecoming compatible with Pokemon HOME.
