Vault Comics will release a tie-in comic to remake the Shudder film

Vault Comics will be publishing a one-shot tie0in in a film to the new Shudder movie, created by comic designers Michael Moreci, Tim Seeley, and Luke Boyce. Along with artwork by Dean Kotz, all proceeds from the Revealer comic will be donated to Brave Space Alliance, the first Black-led LGBTQ+ center on the South Side of Chicago.

Angie Pitarelli aims to raise money outside her peep booth at the Revealers Adult Bookstore. Sally Mewbourne, who tries to protect Angie''s soul by leading a protest outside her workplace. When Angie and Sally turn red, the booth becomes blurry and a wave of fear begins to manifest. The REVEALER film is a Shudder Original and will be released on their streaming service on Thursday, June 23rd.

"We made a movie, and, as comic book authors, we had to create a comic that would tie into the film," said Seeley. "Vault is giving us a chance to tell some stories that we couldn''t do in the film, and play in the sandbox created by Luke Boyce."

"I''m excited beyond words about all of this," Moreci said. "Making a movie has been my dream for as long as I can remember. And getting a chance to now marry two of my lovesmovies and comicsis so cool." Together with director Luke Boyce and a few others, we''ll create a comic that we''re quite pleased about.

These four sections of this summer''s hit indie horror film tie directly into the film! Discover the characters, the lore, the Revealers adult bookstore, and what awaits on the other side of the biblical apocalypse.

The comic book will be available on store shelves on August 31st and 2022, and the trailer is below. The film, about when "tensions rise when a stripper and a religious protester are trapped in a peep show booth and must come together to survive the apocalypse in 1980''s Chicago," features Caito Aase, Phil Bogdan, and Sammy DelPurgatorio.
