A new version of Pokemon HOME has been revealed. Read on below to learn more.

BELLEVUE, WAMay 12, 2022The Pokemon Company International and Nintendo have announced the new Pokemon HOME version 2.0.0, which will now allow thePokemon Legends: Arceus,Pokemon Brilliant Diamond, andPokemon Shining Pearlvideo games to be both globally compatible with the cloud service app as well as previous gamesPokemon Sword,Pokemon Shield, Pokemon: Lets Go, Pikachu!, and Pokemon GO.[1]Players will be able

Pokemon HOME allows trainers to continue their Pokemon adventures beyond a single game system and manage their collection of Pokemon across many of their games. The Pokemon that players can take to each game are limited to the Pokemon that appear in those games. Players may also see the details on which Pokemon can be taken to which games from the Help menu of the mobile device version ofPokemon HOME.[2]

Strange Balls Pokemon Legends: Arceus occupies a distant past of Pokemon, where Poke Balls from other games do not exist. When Pokemon caught inPokemon Brilliant Diamond,Pokemon Brilliant Diamond, andPokemon Shining Pearl were transferred toPokemon Shieldare, they will appear in regular Poke Balls.[3]

Players will be able to see the Pokemon that were initially caught in in Pokemon HOME.

When planning games to commemoratePokemon Brilliant Diamond,Pokemon Shining Pearl, andPokemon Legends, you should pay special Pokemon.[4]

Pokemon Legends: ArceusConnectivity Players will receive Rowlet, Cyndaquil, and Oshawott with maximum effort levels as Mystery Gifts in Pokemon HOME''s mobile device version.

Pokemon Brilliant DiamondandPokemon Shining PearlConnectivity After depositing a Pokemon fromPokemon Brilliant DiamondorPokemon Shining Pearlinto the Nintendo Switch version of Pokemon HOME, players will receive Turtwig, Chimchar, and Piplup as mystery gifts in the mobile device version of Pokemon HOME.

Connectivity Between Various Games Pokemon can learn inPokemon Legends: Arceus,Pokemon Brilliant Diamond,Pokemon Shining Pearl, andPokemon Shielddiffer, but the Pokemons will not be shown when it is transferred to another game.[5] The levels of the Pokemon will be determined when a Pokemon is taken to another game for the first time.

If a Pokemon is taken from the game, it learns other moves and then returned to the game it was caught in, it will return to having the moves it originally knew.[6]

Players who have a connection toPokemon Brilliant DiamondandPokemon Shining Pearl can see the condition of Pokemon deposited fromPokemon Brilliant DiamondandPokemon Shining Pearlto Pokemon HOME as well as their other details.

When connectingPokemon Brilliant DiamondandPokemon Shining Pearlto Pokemon HOME, make sure you follow the following steps.

  • Special Pokemon that can only be caught once during regular gameplay can only be deposited once per save data to Pokemon HOME.

Linking toPokemon Legends: Arceus You may see the effort levels of Pokemon deposited fromPokemon Legends: Arceusto Pokemon HOME as well as its other information.

  • The objective ofPokemon Legends: Arceusis to help compile the first Pokedex in the Hisui region. As such, the National Pokedex in Pokemon HOME will update its Pokedex entries based on your completion of the Pokedex in yourPokemon Legends: Arceussave data.
  • If a Pokedex entry inPokemon Legends: Arceusis incomplete, you will not be able to see that Pokemons entry in Pokemon HOME.

Additional Achievements and Stickers Players may receive stickers bycompleting achievements under certain conditions in the mobile-phone version of Pokemon HOME. New achievements and stickers based onPokemon Legends: Arceus,Pokemon Brilliant Diamond, andPokemon Shining Pearlwill be added from version 2.0.0 onwards.

Depending on the OS or device, players may not be able to use certain skills. Connect toPokemon Legends: Arceus,Pokemon Brilliant Diamond, andPokemon Shining Pearlto receive special Pokemon as Mystery Gifts.

A fresh update toPokemon HOME (version 2.0.0) will soon come, allowing you to link toPokemon Legends: Arceus,Pokemon Brilliant Diamond, andPokemon Shining Pearl as well as previousPokemon Sword,Pokemon Shield, andPokemon: Lets Go, Eevee!

Pokemon Legends: Arceus,Pokemon Brilliant Diamond, andPokemon Shining Pearl will be mutually compatible with Pokemon HOME, and you may deposit and withdraw Pokemon from each of these games. For example, you may take a Pikachu that you discovered inPokemon Sword orPokemon Shining Pearl.

Note that transferring Pokemon to a game they were not originally caught in may make adjustments to known moves, levels, and the type of Poke Ball they were caught in.

The only Pokedex in Pokemon HOME was the National Pokedex. However, starting from version 2.0.0, the Pokedex from each game will be added in their respective games Pokedex after the version 2.0.0 of Pokemon HOME is implemented. Pokemon that arent in a Box when the ver. 2.0.0 update is installed, such as those that have been traded away, will not be registered.

By completeing achievements in the mobile version of Pokemon HOME, you may obtain new stickers to modify your profile. These accomplishments may be accomplished depending on certain conditions.

When Pokemon caught inPokemon Brilliant Diamond,Pokemon Shining Pearl, andPokemon Sword, orPokemon Shieldare are transferred toPokemon Legends, they will appear in standard Poke Balls.

You may also check the condition of Pokemon deposited from thePokemon Brilliant DiamondandPokemon Shining Pearlto Pokemon HOME as well as their other details.

You may see the effort levels of Pokemon deposited fromPokemon Legends: Arceusto Pokemon HOME as well as its other details.

The objective ofPokemon Legends: Arceusis is to help compile the Hisui regions'' first Pokedex. As a result, the National Pokedex in Pokemon HOME will update its Pokedex entries based on your completion of the Pokedex in yourPokemon Legends: Arceussave information.
