At Anime Expo 2022, a Trigun Stampede Anime Trailer is shown

At Anime Expo 2022, people got their first look at a teaser trailer for the upcoming anime series. Produced by Toho and Studio Orange, Yasuhiro Nightow, and Producers Kiyotaka Waki and Yoshihiro Watanabe participated. Crunchyroll will simulcast globally when it launches, thanks to!

The series, directed by Studio Orange, shows Vash''s backstory, rather than the $60 billion it was in the original series and manga. Vash himself appears to be a remake of the original story, featuring his brother Knives, and their caretaker Rem. The 1998 anime series referred to Vash''s past only indirectly until its final episodes. Vash himself now appears to be quite different, with his double-breasted red duster reimagining as a more sophisticated weapon.

Orange included key staff members on the project. Kenji Mutou, who worked on and will direct the show, is credited as providing the character concept and other concept art for.
