Cary Elwes'' Tribute to The Princess Bride''s Co-Star

"Happy Birthday, Andre. Your heart was truly greater than everyone," Elwes said of the actor, who passed away in 1993 after battling Fezzik with his foe, and he will forever be remembered. Late in his wrestling career, that included his iconic match with Hulk Hogan, Roussimoff had chronic back pain and he was diagnosed with traumatic back pain.

While the larger-the-life figure always endeavored to remain constant in all his endeavors, Roussimoff''s mobility and matches were impacted by the greater physical appearances with other actors. Robin Wright, who played The Princess Bride and Buttercup, was significantly less likely to face in the ring, including his climactic scene catching Buttercup as she fell.

Happy Birthday, Andre. Your heart was even bigger than everyone else. It was filled with love. You might be gone, but you will certainly never be forgotten. #AndreTheGiant
