Each one of the six main party members plays a certain role. Nintendo''s earlier announcements discussed that. Now, people can better visualize what that means. Thats because video videos from Attacker, Defender, and Healer are available. Each one shows how one particular character might behave in a fight.
The first video focuses on Noah as an Attacker. He is constantly focused on dealing damage to the opponent in the teaser. It also highlights the backstabbing things people may do when a foe is distracted by friends.
#XenobladeChronicles3 Attackers are adept at completing the offensive, and can target enemies from the side or from the inside to deal significant damage.

Next is a Defender video starring Lanz. After he attacks the enemy and deals damage, it demonstrates how the foe will stop targeting someone like Noah and take care of him instead.
Defenders of #XenobladeChronicles3 excel in blocking and dodging. They draw attention to the enemy, making sure the deadliest blows will never reach their friends.

There is a Healer video that actually doesn''t show Eunie healing. Instead, it focuses on something else the supporter may do. While she is attacking an opponent with other friends, it appears she uses her Myopic Screen attack, which then leaves a toppled enemy dead.
