In the near future, Assassin''s Creed Origins, which is set to receive a 60ps upgrade for current-gen consoles.

Ubisoft has not officially announced the update, but PlayStationSize, a Twitter account, has taken a look back at the PlayStation Store''s upcoming release.

The update will feature an option to select a "higher framerate" on PS5, as well as a "franchise menu."

Ubisoft previously added a 60bps option to the original sequel Odyssey, which is now set in Ancient Greece. Similar to Odyssey, it now boasts a "franchise menu," which shows off and recommends several other recent Assassin''s Creed games, such as Valhalla.

Ubisoft said it was looking at the technical implications of doing similar for Origins when the deal came, and, well, here we are.

Odyssey''s latest release is coming ahead of a fantastic crossover between star Kassandra and Eivor, which includes new playable story missions in each game.

Fans are hoping for something similar in Origins and a fresh crossover with its brilliant actor Bayek, but there isn''t much of that mentioned so far.
