As the water festival of thePokemon takes place, Lapras wear a scarf and Dewpider making waves. For the first time in Pokemon GO, Araquanid is also taking the form of 50 Dewpider Candy. Plus, for the first time in Pokemon GO, you can encounter Shiny Binacle, if youre lucky, while in raids.
The Water Festival has a slew of rewards. Rainy Lure Modules that have been activated during the event will last for two hours, and you''ll earn twice the Candy and a better chance to get Candy XL from hatching eggs. A Water Festival Scarf avatar item is available in the in-game store.
Throughout the event, Timed Research focuses on catching Pokemon will be available, and you may earn 50 Gyarados Mega Energy, 1,000 XP, 1,000 Stardust, and encounters with Dewpider and Lapras wearing a scarf. There are also Field Research tasks, which will earn you Blastoise Mega Energy and Gyarados Mega Energy.
TheSeason of Alolas fourth Special Research story is now available, so don''t forget to have a little tropical fun during this water-logged celebration.
To complete the Global Challenge during the Water Festival, please come in contact with trainers across the world. Until Saturday, May 21, 2022, at 1:00 a.m. PDT, catch an ocean full of Water-type Pokemon. A double Catch Candy bonus will go into effect for everyone for the remainder of the event.
