Gotta pump the brakes

During yesterday''s Nacon Connect presentation, publisher provided a lot of great information, including the unveil of a sequel and a new title, but this was partially offset by the bad news that the next entry in the series,, would no longer meet its previously scheduled release date.

Many of you will be disappointed with the support of fans of the series, but we want to ensure the franchise''s highest gaming experience by spending more time on its development, according to Nacon. We therefore want to thank the fan community for your support and active participation on the games'' official Discord channel and among the social media platforms.

The attractive road racer, which was originally scheduled to launch this fall, will now be released at some point in 2023. Additionally, Nacon announced that the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the sequel have been canceled, with now only in the works for PS5, PC, Xbox Series X, and perhaps perhaps surprisingly, Nintendo Switch. Perhaps the most ambitious title to date, hopes to fully replicate a digital version of Hong Kong Island as the backdrop for its polished, high-speed racing.

The PS5, PC, Xbox Series X, and Nintendo Switch are in development. A closed beta is expected to begin later in 2022.
