AMD X670E, X670, and B650 chips will be released next week at Computex 2022, the next-generation AM5 platform for Ryzen 7000 ''Raphael'' desktop processors.
The X670 series will offer both PCIe Express Gen 5.0 and PCIe Gen 5.0 support, as well as vendor-specific changes, and the X670E chipset will require the most recent DDR5 memory, which is currently expensive.
The same post has disappeared from TechPowerUP.
Similar statements are swirling in tech media circles. It adds a bit more value to the claim, but concerns over TechPowerUp''s post are surfacing. Both the website and their Twitter page have withdrawn the story. This week, our editor, Hassan Mujtaba, confirmed a similar report which comes from AMD sources.

The unreleased but planned AMD X670 processor will feature dual Promontory 21 chipsets created by ASMedia, which was confirmed in a story on Tom''s Hardware more than a month ago. The general consensus will be that users will pay a high price for the following three available chipsets, mainly due to the high cost of using DDR5 memory currently. This story will be updated as additional information becomes available.
