Iman Vellani, who plays the Marvel villain, is on her way to becoming a superhero

It''s difficult to believe it, but we''re just a month away until Bisha K. Ali, director and producer of Dartmouth+, and a former Marvel Studios executive producer, sees the reasons why changing Kamala Khan''s powers from how they were in the comics universe. This time around, we''re going behind the scenes with a featurette that takes viewers from the Zoom call where Vellani learned she would be playing Kamala to the set as she begins living that superhero life.

Here''s a look at Vellani revealing what the path to being a "superhero" has been like, along with the cast and crew demonstrating why Vellani is so kind as Kamala Khan:

Kamala Khan, who has been inspired by Amanat and Stephen Wacker, and artists Adrian Alphona and Jamie McKelvie, and has previously appeared in multi-million dollar films. This time, the film "Miss. Marvel" will feature a Pakistani-American teen who attempts to advance her Muslim faith without being a superhero. This week, there will be a live-action preview of the next film, directed by Disney+ and Marvel Studios.

Kamala Khan, a Muslim American teenager growing up in Jersey City, is introduced in this new, original series that combines imagination and creativity. Although Kamala is a keen gamer and a keen fan-fiction writer, Kamala feels like she doesn''t fit in at school and sometimes even at home, until she gets super powers like the heroes she''s always looked up to. Right now, life gets better with super powers?

Aramis Knight (Red Dagger), Saagar Shaikh (Aamir), Rish Shah, Zenobia Shroff (Muneeba Khan), Mohan Kapur (Yusuf Khan), Matt Lintz (Bruno), Yasmeen Fletcher, Laith Naki, Azher Usman, and Travina Springer among the stars on the series, according to the directors.
