I''m taking a leave of absence from the majority of my duties at WWE as of tomorrow. WWE is a lifelong legacy for me, and I look forward to returning to the company that I love after taking this time to focus on my family.

McMahon has had a difficult year, with her husband, a fellow WWE executive and star Triple H, who was involved in a "cardiac event" last September. That event brought Triple H out of action as a WWE executive for months and ended his in-ring career.
