This past episode of Freeform''s Season 3, "Book Club," came out with emotional rifles blazing and ready to remind us what feeling feels like. It was an incredible experience to see these characters have a moment to feel, smile, and even express love before uncertainty and impotence. However, it was also great to see their hopes rekindled and how even a small win has the potential to change tides.
One thing I have learned ng is how Scylla (Amalia Holm) has taught them to be successful in some of them as well as in others'' lives. I''m not sure if Alder had been with our unit as long as they had without her, given how curious they are and how bored they are to become. Avery glad to see them smile after Alder''s words.
Another emotional gut-punching moment was getting to see Scylla and Edwin (Hrothgar Mathews) and Raelle''s (Taylor Hickson) dad. However, Willa (Diana Pavlovska) is incapable of going back to those who cannot accept her and want to hurt her. However, they finally addressed her leaving in front of Edwin, and they got a chance to speak again. I think Raelle''s father has had some of this season''s most heart-
Tally (Jessica Sutton) is finally reunited with her mother, May (Jillian Fargey), in another great heartfelt moment. It was great to see them talking as equals rather than the constant arguing. I am also interested in seeing Raelle''s development as well.
