Min and Blackman Talk About Sparrow Academy Ben and More at The Umbrella Academy

We''ve discussed the upcoming third season of Netflix''s Gerard Way & Gabriel Ba''s model, including what information the writer has collected from the set of profile posters for Elliot Page''s Viktor Hargreeves, Aidan Gallagher''s Five Hargreeves, Emmy Raver-Lampman''s Diego Hargreeves, and Lila (Ritu Arya) this time around. "Thank you so much for having me on this journey," Min said of the thought of Doning with TUA after Ben''s Season 2 finale finale finale.

"The fundamental Umbrella Academy/Sparrow Academy Difference" Blackman: "The way I thought about season 3 is that the Umbrellas are a family that didn''t know how to be superheroes. The Sparrows are superheroes who never knew how to be a family. That''s the difference in how they behave. "

"Steve [Blackman] and I talked at length about this balancing act between nature and nurture, and what it would do to someone like Ben. I believe nurture is a great striving force behind who Ben is, and who Ben becomes. So in this alternate reality where they''re being trained as these assassins and super-known, these are all things that we talked about making a positive impression on Ben."

While I was filming to slightly lower my register, Min made sure "Umbrella" Ben wouldn''t be surprised by her. "I got to work with a voice coach to develop more. I also had to go to the gym for the first time in several years. "I really enjoyed seeing those external influences in terms of body and voice."

"Sparrow" Ben is more than fine with his abilities than his "Umbrella" counterpart: "I think the previous version of Ben was fearful of his powers. When these tentacles were unleashed, he didn''t know what would transpire. But since the Sparrows have been trained to utilize their powers during combat, it''s something the new Ben feels much more control over. It''s a casual way for him to make a cigar and drink. It''s something he makes
