Richie Anderson, who plays on Radio 2, joins the Strictly Come Dancing lineup in 2022

Richie Anderson, the radio and television presenter, will join the 2022 lineup, according to the BBC.

Hints: he''ll follow in the footsteps of 2021''s top-runner-up, John Whaite, as Richie''s participation in another all-male partnership.

Richie Anderson is well-known for his extensive role on the Radio 2 Breakfast Show, presenting travel guidelines and hosting a wide variety of his own shows. He was earlier in Turin to cover the 2022 season for the station.

Richie is a regular presenter on BBC One, as well as his role in the channel''s Platinum Jubilee coverage earlier this year.

Richie is extremely excited to be joining the line-up for the 20th series. He said: "This is a dream come true! I cannot wait to see those sparkles and sequins and shimmy across the most famous dance floor in the world. is the ultimate feel good show, as soon as I hear that iconic tune it''s pure escapism.

On Thursday, August 4, the first two 2022stars were announced. Will Mellor and Kym Marsh are actors.

Fans of Soap will likely recognize the pair, as both are former stars, although Will has also had roles in a variety of shows, including and Kym is a presenter on the program and is set to star in season 11.

There are still plenty more celebs to be announced for this year''s competition. We know that this year''s number of people signed up is expected to feature the largest lineup in history.
