The Last of Us Part 1comparison by Naughty Dog is now available

Before its release this September, Naughty Dog has been slowly sharing tiny bits from Part 1 of The Last of Us for PlayStation 5 and comparing it to the PS4 Remastered version of the game.

Joel is seen on horseback in the most recent example, as the screen switches between the PS4 and PS5 versions of the same scene.

"Get ready to hit the dusty trail for a beautiful - and dangerous - voyage across America in Part 1," Naughty Dog said in its tweet, with the footage, which you can see below.

The developer has also released video vs. the game''s characters, highlighting Tess'' "glow up" between console generations.

These new character models are all similar to those seen previously in the game. However, Naughty Dog says Part 1 is closer to the game''s original concept.

Last month, we also got a closer look at the new accessibility features that will be available on the game''s release. These include a video description setting, which is a first for a game on PlayStation.

While many members of the The Last of Us community have praised Naughty Dog for introducing these new features, others believe that the company can not justify this lengthy price tag.

The HBO adaptation of The Last of Us has been canceled. While their roles haven''t been specified, Troy Baker and Ashley Johnson, who play Joel and Ellie in the games, will make a cameo appearance on the show.
