Toho Animation has announced that it will perform an anime adaptation. A new teaser trailer gives viewers a brief glimpse into how the anime adaptation might look and feel. A new official website has been created, along with an English Twitter account for the anime adaptation. Toho Animation has not confirmed the animation studio for the adaptation.

The teaser trailer does not include any footage of the actual anime. Instead, it is a collection of black and white photographs and scenes from several buildings in Tokyo, with audio hinting at a Kaiju attack. The final seconds of the video reveal smoke clouds and a creature in the distance, before fading to black.
The manga series first appeared on the Shonen Jump + app in July 2020 for free. It has seven volumes in publication. Naoya Matsumoto, the author of the series, has been a Shonen Jump veteran and has been serialized in the magazine since 2009.
