Sinclair Daniel, Peter Dager, andHiam Abbass will feature in the series, including Patrick Wilson, Rose Byrne, and Ty Simpkins. Wilson is making his directorial debut with the film, based on a script by Scott Teams, and from Leigh Whannell and Teems. This one will usually take place at college, according to Deadline.

Insidious Returns To Its Roots

"Ty Simpkins, his brother, will leave his father behind after he leaves an idyllic, ivy campus. However, the two films, which I like most horror fans, will forever be haunted by the same bad events. It will be odd to me that this series came around when the franchise did, and this one didn''t take off like the other. I actually think the first Insidious is the best of either franchise.

The four films have made a combined $539 million at the box office, compared to a combined budget of $26 million. It was so bad that the fourth film, from 2018, had the highest gross in the franchise, with $167 million worldwide. It will be interesting to see what Wilson will do in the director''s chair when it opens on July 7th, 2023. This will be the first of the four films to see progress.
