Saturday Mondays Screenshot: tentacle typing and scultpingspaceships

Every weekend, indie devs display off their latest work on Twitter''s #screenshotsaturday tag. Every Monday, I bring you a selection of these snaps and clips. This week, my eye has been caught by a surreal RPG, a squirrel with a gun, a typical tentacle horror, handcrafted spaceships, and many more interesting indies.

Tentacle Typer has a recurring keyboard-mashing, which is a "Lovecraftian text editor RPG experience" (coming to Steam):

I wondered what it would be like if every letter you wrote received blasted the nearest thing after you, so here I am checking. It''s a lot more fun than I anticipated.#screenshotsaturday | #unity3d | #gamedevelopment pic.twitter.com/L0WD4D3Z4L

Requisition (coming to Steam) is a fun creation technique for VR co-op zombie survival games.

It''s been two years since we first discovered the film She Dreams Elsewhere (coming to Steam) and I''m thrilled to see it again:

Extra Coin (coming to Steam), a fun adventure game set inside a social network metaverse cyberspace doodad, is great!

I thought I was overly tired in animal games years ago, but Squirrel With A Gun (coming to Steam) makes me laugh.

Gacha Garden, a game about collecting and organizing objects in a beautiful garden, has a bad name but a good-looking approach to inventory stacks, according to Steam:

Kamaeru''s "cozy care game" gives us some important lesson.

My eyes are too old to follow the action of Shmup Dot Bullet (early version available on Itch) but they still appreciate the colours and patterns:

For me, #IndieGame #ScreenshotSaturday #MadeWithUnity #Unity3D #GameDev pic.twitter.com/4MepYZtWXw is a life by the water.

I''m not sure this has a name, but I like the look, and the thread suggests something else in the works.

#indiedev #madewithunity I''ve been working on my little gem character here in between game jams and travel. Below are some updates for #screenshotsaturday, including dashing, teleportation, UI additions, and a very early AI controller (with placeholder visuals! ). I like using handcrafted paintings from Just Act Natural (out now free-to-play on Steam), a multiplayer party game aimed at attempting to disseminate by blending in with NPCs:

What other thing was really interesting to your eye this weekend, dear reader?
