Battleship Musashi will be star at Azur Lane's 5th anniversary event

The Japanese 5th Anniversary live stream revealed a new major event that will feature IJN Musashi, the second Yamato-class battleship. It will last for three weeks from September 15 to October 5, 2022.

The event will bring a total of five new shipgirls to the horizon. All of them will belong to the Sakura Empire, which is inspired by Japan.

Haguro''s four-ship roster of Myoko-class heavy cruisers will be expanded. Myoko, Nachi, and Ashigara have previously been featured on the third Agano-class cruiser Yahagi, along with the nations flagship Yamato, which are among the most significant Japanese ships to date.

The Japanese anniversary, which will take place in September, has always included shipgirls from the Sakura Empire. Shinano is the games first-ever prototype Ultra Rare shipgirl, and the fourth anniversary in 2021 brought in Shimakaze, who previously appeared in the console game.
