Heavy Metal is set to go public a month late on the 25th of October, but it is still within its thirtieth year. Tripwire has expanded its digital edition for $20, and a hardcover version for $50, including new artwork from the publishers who will still speak to Joel Meadows.

The Tripwire 30th anniversary book has a cover by designer Kit Caoagas, complete with a foreword from Previews editor Marty Grosser, classic interviews with Alan Moore, Frank Miller, and Mike Mignola, as well as a photo gallery, Scott Braden''s comic series, a new comic by Andy Bennett, and a new comic strip by Roger Langridge.

Meadows is also distributing new 30th anniversary themed feature stories, including a story about Heavy Metal''s history (paying the piper! ), a list of 30 independent artists who have impacted the industry.

On October 22, the Tripwire team will be signing with Joel Meadows. Simon Davis, Frazer Irving, Roger Langridge, and Dan Schaffer will join the MCM Artists Alley in London, as well as Senior Editor Andrew Colman and Meadows.

Joel Meadows will perform a book signing at the Heavy Metal booth on October 8th, with some contributing artists joining the group. Tickets for the Tripwire 30th Anniversary book event and signing in New York City are available now.
