The Last Chapter, the final film from Assassin's Creed Valhalla, will be released later this year

The film adaptation of Assassin''s Creed Mirage may be quite the same for Assassin''s Creed Valhalla fans, but this year, a final story expansion will be announced.

The Last Chapter, because, certainly, it''s the last chapter Valhalla''s final expansion is expected to launch "in a few months" and sees Eivor "say goodbye" to their neighbors and set forth for "distant shores and new adventures."

According to Ubisoft, the free quest arc will "nicely tie up some of the outline concepts established throughout the game." Eivor will also reunite with some key characters... "including some important historical ones."

Despite the fact that no formal release date has been given, the video description states that The Last Chapter will be released in 2022, therefore we shouldn''t have too long to wait.

The evening was dominated by teases for two blockbuster Assassin''s Creed projects in the future. Codename Red will be set in feudal Japan, while Codename Hexe is likely to be inspired by European witchcraft.

Ubisoft believes it is appropriate to confirm a couple of mobile game projects, including one one in China.

Before all of that, there''s still next year''s Assassin''s Creed Mirage to look forward to, too.
