Early reviews for Glass Onion have been released at fall festivals, with a majority of critics praised the Knives Out sequel as a powerful follow-up to the original mystery hit. As of September 12, Glass Onion has received a 89% "Fresh" on Rotten Tomatoes (opens in new tab) and a score of 84 on Metacritic (opens in new tab).

Leslie Odom Jr. as scientist Lionel Touissant, Kathryn Hahn as Claire Debella, who is a Connecticut governor seeking for Senate, and Kate Hudson as fashionista, Birdie Jay, have been released for an exclusive first look.
Leslie, who talks to Empire in a new tab, said of the characters: "I imagine that as complex these relationships are, these people have history, so what keeps them back together?"

Who is Rian Johnson?
After doing both of his roles for as well, Rian Johnson is returning to write and direct. This was one of Johnsons most well-known films in his career, which includes the likes of, and a little film called.
The latter is one of the most popular films in history. While critics are widely praised, a portion of Star Wars fans have a negative perception of the film and the choices that Johnson made. The kind of backlash that he faced and the fan reaction was actually a common complaint.
