Season 43 cast of Meet the Survivor

Season 43 kicks off on September 21 in a two-hour premiere on CBS. Although the remote conditions, challenges, and conflicts have made the competition series a hit, we cant discount the people who bring all of those elements to life.

The 18 contestants are competing for the $1 million on the Mamanuca Islands in Fiji. Jeff Probst, the only host, has ever acknowledged, said (opens in a new tab) this season that they will investigate "how that society that they are making directly impacts the game they are playing." Remember, the Sole Survivor is not only an exceptional player; they also have to convince the jury to pay them the prize money.

Cody Assenmacher

Cody Assenmacher, who lives in Hawaii, is in elevator sales. He believes that having wisdom ahead of his time will help him communicate with older players, and that his youthful ability will enable him to relate to younger players.

Lindsay Carmine

Coco Tribe Lindsay Carmine, a Florida teen, has been practicing pediatric in Downingtown for over two decades. However, people are surprised by how capable she is, especially as she grows older.

Cassidy Clark

Coco Tribe Cassidy Clark was voted for season 41 of, but the pandemic struck just days before she was set to play. She prepared harder for reapplication, and now she is back. Cassidy admires past player Kim Spradlin and her "low-key assassin" game and plans to manipulate and persuade others in her own way.

Justine Brennan

Justine Brennan is a nonathletic girly-girl, but her father, who lived in Marina del Rey, Calif., has questioned whether she is emotionally intelligent than book smart, which she believes will be a major component when dealing with other people.

Geo Bustamante

Coco Tribe is returning from Honolulu, Hawaii, where he believes that laziness and people who lack common courtesy are his pet peeves. When asked to describe which past player hell play his game most like, he said, "I would need to be a combination of [John] Cochran and Boston Rob [Mariano], I will be more aggressive than Cochran."

Nneka Ejere

Nneka Ejere, a 43-year-old pharmacist from Weatherford, Texas, was born on season 43. She has two daughters, each with a third on the way. "I can influence others to make decisions, and theyll believe it was their idea the whole time," she said.

Mike Gabler

Mike Gabler, a 52-year-old heart valve surgeon from Meridian, Idaho, is adept at playing the game at the right time. He believes that hell were always in the right position at the right time. She had fantastic strategies and game play.

Karla Cruz Godoy

Coco Tribe Karla Cruz Godoy is welcomed from Newark, Del., where she is an educational project manager. The 28-year-old moved to a low-income household and became a Mexican immigrant father. Karla loves to demonstrate her robustness and eavesdropping abilities to win the prize.

James Jones

Coco Tribe is a 37-year-old event planner from Philadelphia. He won the United States Chess Open (the largest chess tournament in the United States) for his rating bracket. James thrives and finds a sense of defiance in chaos, which he believes will lead to the Sole Survivor.

Owen Knight

Baka Tribe Owen Knight, a 30-year-old New Orleans college admissions director, believes himself an unassuming triple threat, which will be the key to him winning the $1 million. "I would like to play a similar game to Adam Klein. He kept his threat level low, had excellent relationships with everyone, and was his genuine, superfan self," he said.

Noelle Lambert

Noelle Lambert, a 25-year-old from Manchester, N.H., played at the 2020 Summer Games in Tokyo. After an accident, Noelle had her leg amputated in 2016, but has never let her prosthetic define her. She hopes to channel Kelley Wentworths for the second season in her own game. "Her tribe mates didnt think she was a huge threat, but she found hidden immunity idols and created blindsides to further herself in the game." Noelle says

Sami Layadi

Sami Layadi, a 19-year-old living pet cremator, is passionate about sports, fitness, and journaling. Sami says he''s "too converseally and emotionally engaged with individuals to be unaware of my standing in the game at any time." He''s also too determined to stay comfortable.

Jesse Lopez

Jesse Lopez, 30, from Durham, New York, went from being a gang member to turning his life around with a political science degree. He is incredibly confident in bringing an academic background to the game. "I have learned more about voting than Sandra [Diaz-Twine] and Boston Rob [Mariano].

Ryan Medrano

Coco Tribe If you ask Ryan Medrano why he believes he can be the Sole Survivor, then you have to think carefully about it, understanding his abilities, and grapple with puzzles. The 25-year-old warehouse associate from El Paso, Texas, was born three months early with mild cerebral palsy. He was diagnosed with schizophrenia, but was discharged following four years of rehabilitation.

Dwight Moore

Dwight Moore, a 22-year-old graduate student from Collierville, Tenn., has been shown signs of success in the game. He hopes to emulate Wendell Hollands'' "Ghost Island," where he developed strong social relationships and performed well in difficult situations. "I''m giving it everything until I see that goal met," Dwight said.

Elisabeth "Elie" Scott

Baka Tribe Elisabeth "Elie" Scott, a Salt Lake City clinical psychologist, finds herself clever, intuitive, capable of skiing, and taking part in karaoke at dive salons. Elie believes shell win due to her "natural social skill and cutthroat strategy."

Morriah Young

Morriah Young, a 28-year-old, loves shopping, traveling, and designing content. She believes that being "super lovable and not an immediate threat" will help her win season 43.

Jeanine Zheng

Jeanine Zheng, who loves backpacking, photography, and running, believes she can be the Sole Survivor because she can "creap relationships with people from completely different backgrounds and minimize the consequences of my different alliances."

Season 43 will be available on Paramount Plus on Wednesdays at 8 pm ET/PT starting September 21. Episodes will be available until Fridays.
